Friends and family,

One addition to Monday, August 31. After the graveside service, some of us will gather for lunch, and you're warmly invited.

There's no set end time — come when you can, stay as long as you like. It's a food cart pod with around twenty carts (Thai, Korean, Indian, sushi, pizza, burgers, boba and more), so there's something for everyone and no need to order ahead.

Nothing else has changed: the church service and reception are still Saturday, August 29, and the graveside service is still 11:00 AM Monday with arrival between 10:30 and 10:45.

Friends and family,

The schedule for Josh is now final. There are three gatherings, across two days.

① CHURCH SERVICE — Saturday, August 29, 11:00 AM Good Shepherd Community Church 28986 SE Haley Road, Boring, OR 97009 There will be no viewing. For anyone who can't be there in person, the service will stream at memorials.gshep.us — no sign-in needed.

② AFTER-SERVICE RECEPTION — Saturday, August 29, following the church service The home of Chris Roberts 1311 NW 19th St, Gresham, OR 97030 All are welcome. Driveway parking is reserved for family (marked); street parking is available. Alcohol is permitted. The reception is a potluck — please consider signing up for a dish on the Events page so we don't end up with eleven potato salads.

③ GRAVESIDE SERVICE — Monday, August 31, 11:00 AM Willamette National Cemetery 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086 Please arrive between 10:30 and 10:45 AM and check in at the front office — they will tell you which pavilion. Line up your car behind the designated black hearse and follow it in. 11:00–11:07 AM — Military honors: flag, Taps, and rifle volley 11:07–11:30 AM — Family program: speeches

If you can't make it, you can still sign the registry and leave a note for Josh on the site — everything left there stays with his family.

Ranger's been busy. There's a fair bit new in JOSH BOY™, and we'd rather you found most of it yourselves.

He grows into his moves. All four of Ranger's moves change as he levels up. They get stronger, they get names he's earned, and one or two learn tricks they didn't have before. The game will tell you exactly what changed when it happens.

Patrol has somewhere to be. Eight real parks around Portland now, and you won't hit the same one twice in a row.

Russ has restocked. JOSHMART's shelves fill in as you go. Some of the later stuff is worth saving your bones for. One item was definitely borrowed from a cat.

Josh-Mode only. Your Ranger level still shows up next to your name when you sign the registry.
